Ford's latest Focus models, touted to have the "highest standards of quality and craftsmanship", are set to enter the UK market in March.
The two new five-door models - an estate and a hatchback - offer excellent fuel economy and elevate the Ford driving dynamics to the next level, according to the car maker.
Stephen T. Odell, Chairman and CEO, Ford of Europe, said: "We are very excited about introducing the new Ford Focus to the European market given the strong heritage this model has here.
"With its desirable combination of dynamic design, outstanding driver appeal, unmatched levels of technology and impressive fuel economy, we believe that the new car will not only delight our existing customers but also expand the appeal of the Focus brand to a whole new generation of Ford customers."
The new models have been created in Europe and will be sold in more than 120 markets, under Ford's new global C-segment platform that is set to produce around two million units annually by 2012.
