Avid motorist Joe LoCicero will be in the market for a new car insurance deal after he was awarded a brand new 2012 Honda Accord for driving one million miles in his 1990 model of the vehicle.
For a man that has covered so many miles in his car - he drove an average of 62,500 miles a year for 15 years - Mr LoCicero would also be advised to take out comprehensivebreakdown cover on his new vehicle.
Million Mile Joe, as he has become known, started keeping detailed records of his driving after he noticed he had clocked up 300,000 miles.
The keen driver took 661 photos of his odometer during his epic journey, which online fans were able to follow by logging on to a specially created website as he closed in on the one million mile mark.
Honda presented Mr LoCicero with the keys to his new vehicle at a surprise parade in Saco, Maine, in America on October 23, including marching bands from local schools, theatre stilt walkers and a giant odometer float.
