Japanese car giant Toyota has unveiled its own interpretation of the London black cab.
This concept car, to enjoy its debut at the upcoming Toyota motor show, is being used to showcase features which enhance accessibility, particularly for children and older people.
The new vehicle features a low floor, an electric sliding door and high cabin in moves which complement Japan's encouragement of bus and taxi manufacturers to make more user-friendly vehicles.
Elsewhere, Jaguar is releasing an image of its much-anticipated coupe variant, due for public debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show.
The tin-top version of the Jaguar compact sports model should look just as dramatic in the metal as its convertible relative, with the coupe expected to have the same three engines as the drop-top model.
However, UK buyers have to wait until at least next spring for their purchases.
