BMW customers can put their name down now for one of the German giant's new 2 Series Active Tourers to make sure they get theirs when they hit UK forecourts in September.
The latest addition to the BMW range starts with the £22,125 218i SE Active Tourer and buyers will get as standard two-zone air conditioning, an automatic tailgate, rear parking distance control system, a 40:20:40 electronic split folding rear seat and a sliding 60:40 bench at the rear. It also comes with the BMW Emergency Call system.
Also coming as standard is a keyless engine starting system, three-mode drive performance control, a sensor that operates the headlights when it rains, a leather multi-function steering wheel and an extra 12v power socket.
Owners are entertained at no extra cost by a Bluetooth and USB interface, audio streaming system, BMW's Professional radio with a 6.5 inch screen and CD player, plus a DAB radio system.
Those who opt for a Sport version instead will also get its Sport 17-in alloys and front seats, LED lights, black gloss trim and Sport style changes. This variant will cost an extra £1,250.
