A man has been reported for dangerous driving after being caught travelling at 127mph on an A road with a child in his car, according to police.
The 47-year-old was on the A90 Aberdeen to Peterhead road near Blackdog in Aberdeenshire when he was stopped. Officers on the scene then noticed he was travelling with a seven-year-old girl.
Sergeant Neil Morrison of Grampian Police said: "Drivers and passengers of all ages need to think about their obligations while using the road system and take responsibility for their actions.
"If they choose to ignore the safety advice then there is a very real likelihood that they will find themselves being reported for bad driving and potentially facing a period of time without a driver's licence."
The man was one of a number of drivers reported by Grampian Police over the weekend.
