As many as 30 motorcycle brands will be participating in this year's revamped NEC bike show, in Birmingham, it has been announced.
This compares with the 11 firms that took part in the 2009 event, when the country was in the grip of the economic downturn. This year's show will start on November 27 and runs until December 5.
The event is likely to boost bike sales in the country, leading to more people buyingbike breakdown cover.
The major firms attending the new Carole Nash Motorcycle Live event include Aprilia, Benelli, BMW, Cagiva, Daelim, Derbi, Ducati, Generic, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Moto Guzzi, PGO Scooters, Piaggio, Royal Enfield, Spyder, Suzuki, Vespa, Victory, Watsonian Squire and Yamaha.
Finlay McAllan, the show's managing director, said: "Naturally we're delighted to announce the attendance of all major motorcycle brands.
"With all-four Japanese manufacturers confirmed, along with the major US and European marques, visitors will benefit from a bumper crop of 2011 models at this year's event, making it the must-visit attraction for any motorcycle fan."
