Ford has unveiled a range of hi-tech improvements to its popular four-wheel-drive Kuga.
The all-new Kuga is more spacious than the current model and offers owners a string of new features to make life easier.
Anyone that has ever struggled with hands full of shopping bags, or children, while trying to open the boot will love the technology that allows you to open the tailgate by waving a foot under the bumper.
And that level of practical thinking has been applied to a new system that allows the seats to be folded flat at the touch of one button.
The inside of the Kuga is bigger than previous models, with 82 extra litres of space.
When the Kuga is launched early next year, it will be available with two 2.0 diesel engines, producing 138bhp and 161bhp, before a 1.6-litre EcoBoost turbocharged petrol unit is added to the range.
Ford of Europe's chairman and CEO, Stephen Odell said: "Innovative technologies like the hands-free automatic tailgate clearly set new Kuga apart from its competitors, but more importantly they provide customers with everyday advantages.
"All-new Kuga is more spacious, dynamic and capable than the current model, which continues to be popular with our European customers."
