Korean passes 960th driving exam

A resilient South Korean woman, who has repeatedly failed her driving tests, was finally able to get behind the wheel after she made it through on her 960th attempt.

Cha Sa-soon was unsuccessful on her previous attempts at a written exam, but finally passed it last year after spending about £11,000, including application fees.

According to South Korean driving laws, people can only get behind the wheel for a driving test if they pass a written exam, which 69-year-old Cha failed over and over again.

The new driver said the licence would help her in her vegetable-selling business.
