Korean firm Kia has said its new premium B-segment Venga model will be launched in the UK early next year.
The four-door, four-seat model has been designed, engineered and manufactured entirely in Europe and will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The carmaker says the 4,068mm-long Venga's 1,600mm-high roofline is designed to maximise cabin space, offering interior space more in line with a C-segment vehicle.
Manufactured only for European markets, the Venga is available in both petrol and diesel models. It also offers a choice of either a 1.4-litre or 1.6-litre capacity.
However, all engine models are equipped with a fuel-efficient Intelligent Stop and Go technology, and comply with Euro 5 emission standards.
The Venga will feature a sliding 60/40 split rear seat that can be folded flat to make room for cargo, and also a twin-level boot floor. Some versions of the model sport a tilt-and-slide all-glass panoramic roof.
The Seoul-based company has modelled this new vehicle on the No 3 concept shown at the Geneva Show in March.
