Kia pulls wraps of new Sportage

Kia has signalled the introduction of the new top-of-the-range Sportage that boasts a diesel engine that is full of power and a luxurious feel to the car.

The KX-4 has a new trim line that reflects the existing distinguished shell and is reasonably priced in comparison with cars in the same bracket, with versions starting at £27,000.

The dearest Sportage comes fully equipped with front and rear parking sensors, full leather upholstery, keyless entry, an engine start/stop button and stainless steel scuff plates in the apertures of the doors.

As standard there are Automatic windscreen wipers, 18-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, heated front and rear seats, cruise control, a seven-inch touchscreen sat-nav system with EU mapping, a panoramic sunroof, iPod connectivity, colour reversing camera, a seven-speaker stereo with subwoofer and amplifier and automatic xenon headlights.

In the Sportage range the KX-4 is on its own in that it is only available with 'Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive', this means that all the engine's power goes to the front wheels in normal conditions but 40% can be transferred to the back set if needed for traction.
