Jaguar to release revised XK range

Jaguar's upgraded XK range is set to be released at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the car manufacturer has said.

The highlight of the new series is the high performance XKR Coupe, which features two new optional performance and styling packs – Speed Pack and Black.

The unique engine and transmission recalibration of the new XKR packs help raise the maximum speed of the vehicles from 155mph to up to 174mph.

The car is equipped with a revised front aerodynamic splitter and larger rear spoiler, ensuring the Coupe's stability and balance at high speeds.

Steering sensitivity at very high speeds is reduced with the help of the new model's computerised Active Differential Control, which improves stability and driver control.

Body-coloured side sills, a rear diffuser, a chrome finish to the window surrounds, upper and lower mesh grilles, side Power Vents and boot lid finisher will be part of the XKR vehicles with the Speed Pack.

The 20in alloy wheels are etched with red brake callipers bearing a Jaguar 'R' logo.

The Speed Pack is priced at £3,500 and the Speed and Black Pack costs £4,000 in the UK.
