The initial images of the all-new Hyundai i40 have been unveiled.
The vehicle will make its world debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in March.
The i40 will roll out in Europe in estate form, followed by a saloon version later in the year.
Hyundai said the i40 is its first D-segment vehicle developed specifically for the European market.
The new i40 comes with a host of powertrain choices, one of them being a 1.7-litre diesel engine, promising CO2 emissions of just 113 g/km.
Under Hyundai's industry-leading customer care package, buyers will be offered unlimited mileage warranty, roadside assistance and vehicle health checks for five years.
Hyundai's new 1+2 door Veloster coupe and its Curb concept will also make their European debuts at Geneva.
The two cars made their world debuts at the North America International Auto Show in January.
Hyundai will launch the Veloster coupe later in the year.
