Honda is giving its customers the same choice they face when they start a game of chess or draughts - do they prefer black or white.
This is the key choice between the two special editions of the Japanese firm's CR-V - whether people opt for the Black Edition or go for the White Edition.
Both are said to have a greater road presence than other CR-Vs, with extra enhancements on the outside.
Owners pay £770 less for the special editions compared to the CR-V SE-T and get 19-inch Orion alloy wheels, an exhaust finisher and privacy glass, plus the same choice of optional extras.
They come with a fresh front grille design, while the tailgate spoiler adds to the CR-V's sleek quality and the built-in running boards and front and rear skid plates increase the vehicle's practicality and protection.
Like the CR-V SE-T, the special editions all come with dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, parking sensors at both ends, powered door mirrors, metallic paint and an integrated sat-nav system.
