Honda's compact hybrid electric vehicle CR-Z has picked up three top awards in just seven days.
The hybrid coupe won the Japan Car of the Year title, leaving behind international rivals. Honda received the award for the 11th time.
The CR-Z also collected the Eco Gadget of the Year award at an event organised by Stuff magazine.
Fraser MacDonald, editor-in-chief at Stuff magazine, said: "The Honda CR-Z looks great, and it feels great to be in.
"It's also relatively small and light, so - for an unethical minute or two - hit the 'Power' button and work the manual gearbox, and it'll go like a little rocket. Plus - and this is the icing on the eco cake - normal people can afford one."
In addition, the Honda model was honoured with the Most Economical & Environment Friendly Sports HEV title, following the first RAC Brighton to London Future Car Challenge.
Recently, the vehicle was also named the Best Sports Car by What Car?.
