Mercedes-Benz is to run an innovative TV advertising campaign that viewers can interact with via Twitter during this week's X-Factor.
During the commercial breaks of the X-Factor this weekend viewers will be able to use twitter to decide what happens in a three-part story as part of the #YOUDRIVE advertising campaign for the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class.
The film follows a young musician, played by Top Boy actor Kane Robinson, and his female companion, actress Wendy Glenn, as they try to get to a secret gig while being pursued by the authorities.
A number of different scenarios were filmed for the caper on the streets of Lisbon and Porto, Portugal, and viewers will be able to vote via twitter to help decide whatroute the pair take.
A sneak preview of the advert is being launched this week and once the TV campaign has run, viewers will be able to visit an interactive YouTube channel - youdrive.com/YOUDRIVE - to watch all the films and create their own story.
For any viewer that manages to spot the date of the secret gig during the advert there is also the chance to win a new A-Class for a year.
