Jaguar Land Rover is celebrating the production of the one millionth vehicle at its Halewood plant.
The advanced manufacturing facility, near Liverpool, is marking the milestone by donating the landmark vehicle to Cancer Research UK.
The unique Range Rover Evoque, painted in a special one-off Fuji-white colour combination, rolled off the production line on Monday.
The vehicle features ebony-black alloy wheels and individualistic, unique Firenze-Red contrast roof, matching Firenze-Red mirror scalps and red/black sports seats and interior door panels.
The million barrier was broken, thanks to continued demand for the Evoque and growing sales of Land Rover Freelander 2.
Worldwide demand for the Evoque has beaten expectations, with 18,000 advanced orders placed before the first job on July 4, 2011.
Halewood's productions rates have jumped substantially over the last 12 months, largely due to 24-hour working, bringing the arrival of the 1,000,000th vehicle ahead of original predictions.
