Goodwood starts festival engines

The hillclimb is the star attraction once again at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the picturesque grounds of Goodwood House, near Chichester on the weekend of June 30th to July 1st.

The owner of the house and the nearby racing circuit, Lord March, first hosted theFestival of Speed in 1993 and it has grown to feature a wide variety of action and daredevil displays.

The hillclimb will feature the likes of Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Mark Webber, Derek Bell, Sir Stirling Moss, Alain Prost and Sir Jackie Stewart amongst others.

There will be cutting-edge modern Formula One and World Rally Championship cars on display, along with the newest high performance cars from all over the world.

The rally stage will feature legends past and present, bike fans will find plenty to enjoy and among the numerous displays will be the Cartier Style et Luxe featuring rare and priceless machines from the heyday of racing.
