An Aston Martin which was once used by HRH the Prince of Wales is to go under the hammer at auction next month.
The 1994 Virage Volante 6.3-Litre Convertible is to be sold at Bonhams on May 19 and is expected to fetch in the region £50,000 - £70,000.
Described as the "most aristocratic of convertibles" by Fast Lane magazine, Prince Charles used the car up until 2007/8. It has since been on display at Aston Martin's headquarters at Gaydon.
Renowned for his soft spot towards Aston Martins, the Prince of Wales also owns an Aston Martin DB6 MKII, which was given to him as a present from the Queen on his 21st birthday. It was recently used last year by Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge as they drove out of Buckingham Palace after the Royal Wedding.
The auction will take place at Aston Martin Works Service in Newport Pagnell.
