A classic 1960's Ferrari, formerly owned by Italian film producer Agostino De Laurentiis, is up for sale in the Collectors' Motor Cars and Automobilia taking place next month.
The 1961 Ferrari 250GTE 2+2 'Series 1' Coupe is expected to fetch between £40,000- £60,000 when it is sold at Bonhams, Oxford.
The producer bought the car, which had one previous owner, in 1967 and appears only to have used it for eight or nine years, as the Ferrari's tax disk is dated 1976.
The coachwork was done by master designer Pininfarina, who was told to make a 2+2 while maintaining the 250's sleek sporting look which gave birth to the GTE.
Ron Hubbard, senior specialist at Bonhams, said the Ferrari was: "Ripe for sympathetic restoration by a fortunate new owner."
Mr Hubbard described the car as a well preserved 'barn find' and was a wonderful opportunity for a possible buyer.
The sale will take place on March 3.
