The 500,000th Fiat 500 model has rolled off the production line at the car maker's factory in Poland.
A stop-start equipped 1.2-litre petrol model finished in Funk White was unveiled as the landmark vehicle at the Tichy plant.
Fiat's hugely-popular hatchback has achieved this milestone in less than two years of the release of its newest model.
The all-new Fiat 500 was launched in 2007 and new additions to the line-up have been made since in the form of variants Cabriolet and high performance Abarth.
It is sold across 83 countries, with Italy, France, the UK Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, Japan and Austria making up the top 10 markets for sales.
The model has been the recipient of more than 40 international awards.
