Ferrari Berlinetta steals the show

Car fans have been queuing around the block to get to the Ferrari stand at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

And the car they are all wanting to get close to seems to be the brand-new F12 Berlinetta, the most powerful road car Ferrari has ever produced

The flagship of the Ferrari range is a 2+2 coupe with an seven-speed transmission that has been inspired by F1. Its v12 engine delivers 730bhp and 509lb.ft of torque.

With the top speed quoted as "over 211mph", the F12 Berlinetta goes from 0-62mph in just 3.1 seconds; 0-124mph in 8.5 seconds.

It is not just a powerful, quick car either. The F12 Berlinetta's sleek looks will turn heads, as it features a more visually arresting design that includes a so-called 'Aero Bridge' along the bonnet which diverts air from the wheels and along the curves in the doors.

One thing is for sure, anyone lucky enough to own one of these much-sought after models will make sure they have the very bestcar insurance .
