British-built Range Rover Evoque has won the Auto Express Car of the Year 2011 title.
The magazine's judging panel picked out Jaguar Land Rover's flagship model from an impressive line-up of cars that emerged winners in 18 different categories.
The Evoque also took home the award for the Best Compact SUV of the past 12 months.
Skoda's Superb too enjoyed double success after emerging victorious in both the Best Family Car and the Best Estate Car categories, while the Hyundai i10 claimed the title of the Best City Car.
All entrants in the various classes were judged on a range of criteria including reliability, fuel efficiency, driver appeal and practicality.
At the annual event this year, Auto Express presented seven special awards.
Volkswagen's BlueMotion was the winner of the first Green Award instituted to recognise the eco-friendly credentials of a car company.
