Ducati UK moves to Silverstone

Ducati UK has officially moved to its new home at the Silverstone Circuit with a launch ceremony attended by some of the biggest stars in motorcycle racing.

The motorbike manufacturer has shifted to sprawling new offices at the home of British motorsport.

Guests at the lavish opening ceremony, including BSB stars Michael Rutter, Chris Walker and Scott Smart, were given a chance to try out their favourite bikes from the Ducati range.

Superbikes including the new Diavel, Monsters and Ducati's other popular power machines were all taken out by riders for a spin around the circuit.

Ducati UK managing director Tim Maccabbe, Ducati Motor Holding's chief executive Gabriele Del Torchio and president of the British Racing Drivers' Club Derek Warwick attended the official opening of the new premises.

Silverstone Holdings managing director Richard Phillips welcomed Ducati UK's move to the racing circuit.

"To have a brand like Ducati is an important step as we continue to develop the Silverstone estate," he said.
