The provisional grid of the Ducati 848 Challenge is now up to 22 riders, with teams like Moto Rapido Racing, P & H Motorcycles, Ducati Manchester and JHP Racing confirming their participation in this year's series.
Winchester-based Ducati dealer Moto Rapido recently announced the signing of Jamie Poole for the 2011 series.
The 2010 Championship winner Darren Fry, third placed Mark Cheetham, Peter Hasler, Aaron Brown, Barry Poll and Stuart Poyser are some of the riders who will be returning to the series.
TheDucati 848 Challenge, which will provide a high profile and competitive Championship that will visit some of the most iconic circuits in the UK and Europe, will also feature riders backed by local Ducati dealers, such as Ducati Leeds, Pro Twins, Italia Moto and Seastar Motorcycles.
The series will see new riders such as Clinton De Tarnowsky, Jack Keen, Andy Kirkwood, Robbie Brown, Ricky Holden, Robin McKee and Jon Chambers.
Ducati Manchester's Russian rider Alexey Ivanov has also confirmed his participation in the event, which will be an official support series for British Superbikes.
