Former Formula One racing drivers and stunning classic cars are gearing up for the 2012 Donington Historic Festival race on May 5 and 6.
Already confirmed to be taking part is ex-Formula One driver Jackie Oliver, who has previously raced to victory at Le Mans and Daytona 24 Hours.
Jackie Oliver is teaming up with Rohan Fernando in a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB in the Pre-63 GT race.
The Ferrari, complete with aluminium body, will be making its debut at the race, as it has never been driven competitively before.
Also competing will be Lukas Huni and Gary Pearson in a SEFAC Ferrari 250 GT SWB.
This was the final SEFAC racing car to be built and helped Ricardo and Pedro Rodriguez win the 1961 1000km race in Paris.
Jackie said: "Now Kevin Wheatcroft has rescued the circuit from its near failure by the last administration, I'm both relieved and delighted to be back at Donington."
