More than 70 iconic cars, past and present, are to go under the hammer.
Specialist auction house CCA is gearing up for its second sale at the world famous Silverstone race circuit in as many months, with a wide range of classics up for grabs from pristine Porsches to rare Renaults.
The all-important date to make a note of is April 21.
On the impressive lot list of classic cars is a 1976 Porsche 911 2.7 Targa S, which auctioneers expect to fetch between £20,000 and £24,000. The semi-convertible would make the ideal summer driving companion.
A 1994 Renault Clio 2.0 16v Williams One is also expected to attract lots of interest, with an estimate of £4,500 to £6,000. Finished in Sports Blue Metallic, this model has only had four owners from new.
The 75,000 miles on the clock makes it even more desirable, especially as it is reported to be one of just 82 left licensed on the road in the UK. Its personalised registration number 'L55 RCW' reflects its limited edition number and model.
A 1952 Dodge Pilothouse Half Ton Pick Up Truck in superb condition is expected to sell for between £20,000 and £22,000, while a restored 1974 Datsun 260Z is on offer with an estimate price of £14,000 to £16,000.
There is also a 1994 BMW E36 M3 on the lot list - widely regarded as a modern classic - with a guide valuation of £8,000 to £10,000.
Wealth of interest
CCA Auction Manager Joe Watts is expecting the cars to attract a wealth of interest.
He says the calibre of classics on offer in the April sale is sure to appeal to the tastes of any enthusiast, no matter what era of motoring history they are interested in, just like the March sale did.
Potential buyers are free to view lots from 9am on the day of the sale, with the auction starting at 2pm. Those unable to attend in person can also bid online, over the phone or by placing a commission bid prior to the sale.
