London 2012 hopeful Stephanie Twell, who narrowly missed out on a medal in the women's 1500m final at the European Athletics Championship, has been appointed the Sporting Ambassador of Citroën.
The French automobile manufacturer presented a brand new DS3 to the 20-year-old athlete as part of her new role, and will also be her sponsors in the build up to the London Olympics.
She has already competed in the women's 1500 metres at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Commenting on her new role, Ms Twell said: "I'm proud to be supported by Citroën and am really enjoying my new DS3.
"It will be a great help in travelling between competitions - although my coach has already got his eye on it, and has offered to drive so that I can rest before races."
