Citroen has revealed the details of its new DS3 Racing car which will hit the market next year.
Boasting a significant power hike, among other improvements such as a returned chassis, better standard equipment and improved brakes - the model is anything but cheap.
However, it is something to look out for, as only 200 of the high performance limited edition cars will be available in the UK.
A substantial boost has been given to the car's 1.6 litre turbo petrol engine, with 204 horsepower and 203lb/ft of torque which will propel the car to 62mph in 6.5 seconds.
After the success of Citroen Racing in world rally, a change from the C4 to the DS3 for 2011 looks probable - as the latter will feature a more focused driving experience.
Citroen claims to have been receiving many orders for the car, even before its launch. Considering that the car costs £23,100 - including the new 20 per cent VAT rate - the model seems to be quite the rage.
