Motorsports enthusiasts are being invited to one of Britain's most famous racing circuits for a unique event showcasing some of the hottest cars and latest computer games on the market.
Publishers of Rock Band and racing game Burnout, Electronic Arts, announced it will be hosting its first ever Need for Speed Live festival next summer in a celebration of car culture.
The weekend-long event at Brands Hatch, Kent, will feature entertainment, car shows, videogames, music, and displays designed to excite fans of exotic cars and motorsport lovers.
Need for Speed Live will be inviting some of the world's top drifters and time-attack cars from across Europe, North America and Japan to compete in a battle of the continents. Need for Speed Live will also include demonstrations by some of the world's most famous race and exotic cars in a manufacturer time-attack exhibition.
Rod Chong, creative director for Need for Speed Live, said: "For over 14 years, Need for Speed has been at the forefront of automotive culture and this Live race event brings the spirit of Need for Speed games to life with all of the energy, adrenaline and sexiness that the franchise represents."
