Chevrolet has announced plans to release its Cruze Station Wagon in the UK this autumn, with prices starting at just £15,375 on-the-road.
That is for the most basic of the three models that will be on offer, the 124PS 1.6-litre LS, which has the same 1,478 litres of space in the estate rear end as the other two and comes with air conditioning, remote central locking and traction control as standard.
And Electronic Stability Control (ESC), follow-me-home headlamps, adjustable door mirrors, front electric windows, 12v power sockets, cargo restraint hooks and electronic boot release are all also standard features.
A 1.8-litre 141PS petrol auto and 1.7-litre 130PS diesel engine emitting 119g/km of CO2 are also available and the next model up, the LT, has rear parking distance sensors, cruise control, electric rear windows and 16-inch alloy wheels as well.
Even more specification details will be revealed nearer the launch date but the LT should have a leather steering wheel and gear knob, and front fog lamps.
The cream of the crop is the top of the range LTZ Nav though, which has a seven-inch colour display screen, sat nav, Bluetooth, rain-sensing wipers, an electro-chromatic self-dipping mirror, automatic lighting control, rear parking sensors with a rear view camera, electronic climate control and 17-inch alloys.
