Audi's RS 4 Avant has been voted Estate Car of the Year 2013 by CarSite.co.uk.
Billed as a high-performance sports car in the guise of a family-friendly estate, the RS 4 Avant came out on top in several categories including price, performance and desirability.
Judges also said they had been impressed by the number of users clicking on its site to read details and reviews of the new car.
CarSite editor-in-chief James Barrell hailed the Audi RS 4 Avant as "a consummate all-rounder".
He added: "It really is difficult to think of another car which covers all the bases in the same way, and it's for that reason we've given it our Estate Car of the Year Award."
Ben Fish, product marketing manager at Audi UK, said the response of Carsite experts and readers to the RS 4 Avant was "immensely encouraging".
He added: "The RS 4 Avant undoubtedly has broad appeal because it can be all things to all drivers - it can go with the flow on the school run or it can give you supercar-style thrills on your favourite deserted back road, all without seemingly ever breaking a sweat."
