Formula One world champion Jenson Button has said he wants to have "fun with and fight" new McLaren team-mate Lewis Hamilton.
The 29-year-old ended a long contract with Brawn GP when he signed for McLaren earlier this week, despite having won his first driver's title this year with his former team.
He said: "Moving to McLaren is the buzz I need, fighting against Lewis. Winning the world championship was my aim and I've achieved that, I want to go out there and have fun and fight against Lewis.
"I hope that when we go out head to head I come out on top but I don't know that. Nobody knows that; that's why it's a proper challenge."
The driver from Frome, Somerset, said 2008 champion Hamilton's long relationship with McLaren will be an advantage but added he was going to work "very hard" to feel comfortable for the first race.
