A survey by Manheim Auctions has revealed that the Aston Martin DB9 is Britain's favourite supercar.
The sports car, which offers GT levels of comfort and refinement, left behind its closest rivals to claim the top position. Its prices start from £122,445.
The Audi R8 was voted the second-favourite supercar by participants in the poll, followed by the Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Gallardo and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
Craig Mailey, marketing director at Manheim Auctions, said: "The Aston Martin DB9 has to be one of the most well-known, best-loved supercars ever made.
"Synonymous with speed, style and glamour and already gaining an iconic status - it's little wonder that the car has been voted favourite in our supercar poll."
Other models included in the top 10 list are the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Ford Mustang (1960-69), Ferrari Testarossa, Dodge Viper and Ford GT.
