Four limited-edition BMW motorcycles are being launched to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the famous GS (Geland-Strasse) range.
The GS, which stands for the German words for trail and street, was introduced in 1980 - with the R80GS sparking a trend for adventure sports bikes.
The new anniversary models will recreate the red, white and blue colours of the R80 GS Rally Raiders, which racer Hubert Auriol rode to victory in the Paris Dakar.
There are also special features on the other models - the R1200GS and Adventure, the F800GS and F650GS - such as white indicators, aluminium engine guards, tinted wind shields, hand-protectors and cross spoke wheels.
Tony Jakeman, marketing manager for BMW UK, said: "The popularity and high volume of sales over the past 30 years, underline the unique and universal appeal of the GS 'Gelande Strasse' concept.
"Until fairly recently, BMW's GS range of motorcycles was considered a rather niche proposition, used mainly by globetrotters and desert racers.
"However, the legendary GS has now firmly entered the mainstream, buoyed by a realisation that the unique blend of on and off-road capabilities, combined with the GS range's touring credentials, make for the perfect all-round motorcycle."
The models will be demonstrated at BMW dealerships on June 19, and prices will be announced on June 1.
