German car maker BMW has tempted the public with details of its new 7 Series executive saloon.
The luxury automobile and motorcycle manufacturer will deliver its new flagship 760Li to forecourts in September.
Until that time it is whetting the appetite of eager car enthusiasts with a few choice facts about its all-new twin-turbo, 6.0-litre V12 petrol engine car.
The model comes with an eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard, and BMW say the V12 engine boasting 544 horsepower will offer sports car-like performance, including zero to 62mph in 4.6 seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph.
The BMW 760Li is said to offer the most rear space in the luxury saloon class, and the model gains an additional 14cms of legroom for rear seat passengers over a standard wheelbase BMW 7 Series.
The company is expected to announce pricing details closer to the car's launch.
