British car manufacturer Bentley is offering holidaymakers the opportunity to drive one of its supercars around an ice circuit this winter.
The Crewe-based car company is selling ice-driving experiences for customers in Finland over the next couple of months. Based in luxury hotels or rustic wooden retreats, the package does not come cheap with the driving holiday of a lifetime costing over £7,000 per person.
Drivers will be offered the chance to get behind the wheel of two of the manufacturer's finest vehicles, either the Continental GT Coupe or the Continental Supersports Coupe. A purpose built ice and snow track in Finland is the venue for the high-octane adventure and instructors will be on hand to teach the advanced techniques necessary to drive in the harshest of weather conditions.
However, if you are sticking to British roads this winter ice and snow can still pose a real danger.Car insurance can protect your vehicle should it suffer any bumps andbreakdown cover may prove a lifeline if your car packs up in the freezing conditions.
Back in Finland, Bentley say they chose the Scandinavian country in recognition of the world ice driving speed record, achieve there by the Continental Supersports Convertible.
