Luxury brand Range Rover has appointed Victoria Beckham as its new creative design executive.
In her new role the singer-turned-fashion designer will be involved in the creation of a special edition of Evoque - a model that Range Rover has billed its "greenest" ever.
Evoque was unveiled at a star-studded event in London, co-hosted by Vogue, to mark the 40th anniversary celebrations of the brand.
Beckham called the sleek, compact vehicle "absolutely stunning" and said she was thrilled to be part of the team.
She added: "I don't know where to start. It's an incredible opportunity I've been given. I'm very excited."
Evoque will be manufactured at Jaguar Land Rover's plant in Halewood, Merseyside, where it is expected to create 1,000 new jobs. The model will be on sale from next summer.
More than 300 guests, including Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, model Erin O'Connor and presenter Gabby Logan, attended the launch at The Orangery at London's Kensington Palace.
