People interested in buying used cars may benefit from a special consumer-friendly event to be conducted by British Car Auctions (BCA) on April 9.
The super sale will take place at the Belle Vue Auction Centre in Manchester, featuring a wide range of used vehicles.
It will include more than 400 vehicles from Lex Autoloease and Black Horse Motor Finance, alongside over 200 convertibles.
BCA communications director Tony Gannon said: "There's no question that motorists are feeling the pinch at the moment so finding the best deal on their next used vehicle is vital.
"Our super Saturday sales give private buyers a fantastic range of choice with over 400 vehicles ranging from Alfa and Audi to Range Rover and Volkswagen."
To ensure that first-time auction buyers get a good deal, the specialist is offering a set of tips.
Buyers are urged to prepare themselves before going to an auction, become familiar with the terms and conditions, take time to analyse the vehicle they want to purchase, interact with auction staff and stick to their budget.
Meanwhile, buyers should also be flexible while choosing a car, listen carefully to auctioneer's description and bid clearly.
