Audi is paying homage to the Quattro sports coupe on the car's 30th birthday by unveiling a new concept design based on the model.
The Quattro Concept, recently revealed at the Paris Motor Show, is a modern version loosely modelled around the RS5, with a shortened wheelbase cut back by 150mm, and a 40mm lower roofline.
It boasts a five-cylinder 2.5-litre engine from TT RS, 402bhp and weighs just 1,300 kg.
The coupe is also expected to reach 62mph in less than four seconds and is supposed to feature a high-tech four-wheel drive system.
The company is in talks to launch the model in limited production. There have been no further details of when and where and price details have not been revealed.
