The Audi slogan Vorsprung durch Technik has never been more apt than in the latest A3 model now on sale to customers in the UK.
The German phrase can be translated as "advancement through technology" and this ethos continues in the three-door variant of the third generation premium compact hatchback, available from £19,205 on the road.
The new version subtly enhances the look of its predecessor and boasts a considerable lift in character, fit and finish, taking on-board technology to a new level in three well-appointed specifications, SE, Sport and S line.

What's more, the version offers voice control for many of its audio and communications technologies. There is also the capability for SD card navigation to act as ajourney planner .
Drivers splashing out on the S line version with its enhanced body styling will have 18-inch alloys, xenon headlights with daytime LED running lamps, sports steering wheel and part-leather upholstery emblazoned with the S line logo.
