Aston Martin is preparing to unveil its new sports car - the V12 Vantage.
The UK-based company claims that the vehicle is its most "potent" production sports car and it will be presented at the Geneva motor show in March.
It is based on Aston Martin's popular V8 Vantage, and features a 6.0-litre, 12-cylinder engine and produces 510bhp and 420lb/ft of torque.
The V12 Vantage can hit a top speed of 190mph and can go from 0 to 60mph in 4.1 seconds.
It is made of lightweight materials and has visual enhancements, which as well as making the car look good and giving it its unique character, also ensures adequate cooling and aerodynamic performance.
Dr Ulrich Bez, Aston Martin's chief executive, is reported as saying on the company's website: "This is the ultimate performance interpretation of the Vantage range, combining our most agile model with our most powerful engine.
"It represents the definitive driving package; providing spectacular performance to ensure a dynamically thrilling and everyday useable driving experience."
The V12 Vantage's price is still to be confirmed, but it is expected to be in excess of £100,000.
