Vauxhall's stylish urban newcomer, ADAM, has held off stiff competition to claim a top interior design prize.
The British automaker's latest addition scooped the best interior design in a production car award at the Automotive Interiors EXPO 2013, voted for by a jury of respected motoring journalists from around the world.
It ranked first ahead of the Alfa 4C, Jaguar F-Type, Renault Clio and the new Range Rover, much to the delight of Elizabeth Wetzel, Interior Design Director for the ADAM.
"The individualisation of the interior is one of the ADAM's many outstanding traits," she said. "The EXPO AWARD is a wonderful tribute to the whole Opel/Vauxhall design team."
ADAM introduces unprecedented levels of personalisation into the style-conscious A-segment, offering almost 82,000 combinations for interior styling, not to mention the vast choice of exterior styling.
It means customers have the chance to create a truly bespoke ADAM that reflects their individual style and personality.
The ADAM, which starts from £11,255, is covered by a Lifetime Warranty of up to 100,000 miles, meaning the cost of repairs resulting from any mechanicalbreakdown are instantly covered.
