A former Premier League footballer's sentencing for driving at 140mph has been adjourned after he failed to show up at court.
Goalkeeper Carlo Nash, 40, who turned out for a host of clubs including Manchester City and Everton, was clocked on the A11 at Wymondham, Norfolk in a 70mph zone on February 2.
He also did not appear at a previous hearing before Norwich magistrates, but the case was proven in his absence.
He was due to find out if he was to receive a driving ban or other penalty at court.
Nash, from Manchester, had requested that the hearing be transferred to a court nearer to his home.
The case was adjourned until August 15 when magistrates will decide on how to proceed with the case.
