Police have caught a driver speeding at more than 100mph in a 30mph zone.
The 27-year-old even topped 110mph on certain stretches of Aberdeen's Beach Esplanade. He has been reported for dangerous driving after being caught at 11.40pm on Friday night.
Some 15 vehicles were seized in separate incidents over the weekend, and Grampian Police say they are disappointed with the actions of some motorists.
Sergeant Neil Morrison from the force's road safety unit said: "Whilst on the one hand it is disappointing to learn that certain individuals continue to put themselves and others at risk by driving irresponsibly, it is encouraging to know that these individuals are being caught and will be dealt with by the courts.
"To drive at excessive speed on any road is something that cannot be condoned."
