What is a classic car?

To get a quote for RAC classic car insurance, you need to confirm that your collector's car:

is used as a second car
was manufactured at least 20 years ago as a standard production model
will not exceed 7,500 miles a year (lower mileages may qualify you for a discount)

a valuation of your classic car (where available)
cover for public road rallies and trials (excluding speed and time trials, racing and track events)
the option of comprehensive or laid-up cover
cover for damage to windscreens and windows (comprehensive cover only)
