If you operate a fleet of trucks or lorries, you need to know that they can be relied upon to do the hard miles. But should any of those vehicles break down, it can be a real headache for you, your drivers and your customers. And, you won't be able to rely on your private individual breakdown cover for your business. RAC Select Commercial Fleet breakdown cover has been designed specifically for companies operating vehicles between 3.5-38 tonnes.

We have a choice breakdown and recovery services for your trucks and lorries with RAC Select Commercial Fleet:

• Roadside assistance – if one of your vehicles breaks down mid-journey, we'll fix it at the side of the road with minimum fuss as quickly as we can. If your vehicle cannot be repaired at the roadside, we'll transport it along with up to seven passengers to an approved garage within a 10-mile radius of the location of the breakdown.
• At home – if one of your vehicles fails to start or breaks down at the address it is registered at, at the home of the driver or within a radius of a quarter of a mile of both, it'll be covered.
• Recovery – if one of your vehicles cannot be repaired at the roadside and needs to be taken to an approved garage, we'll transport it and up to seven passengers to a single address anywhere in the UK.
• Load continuation - if one of your vehicles cannot be repaired at the roadside and needs to be taken to an approved garage we will get your delivery to its final destination.
• Replacement vehicle - if one of your vehicles cannot be repaired at the roadside and needs to be taken to an approved garage and you would prefer your driver to complete the delivery we will provide you with a replacement vehicle. You will be responsible for organising insurance.
• European breakdown cover – if your trucks and lorries operate in Europe we are able to provide you with the same level of breakdown cover as you would get in the UK.

Your trucks and lorries are covered wherever they are in the UK with RAC Select Commercial Fleet – and that includes the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

Getting your fleet back on the road

If one of your vehicles won't start, has broken down mid-journey or has been involved in an accident, you and your drivers want to know that you can get it fixed and back on the road as quickly and safely as possible. Having it off the road for any length of time can only be bad for business.

We have more than 500 commercial vehicle specialists on stand-by to repair your vehicles and are able to fix four out of five vehicles at the roadside. We'll aim to reach your vehicle within 40 minutes of your call, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
