Which? has named Mazda the best car manufacturer of the year.
The Japanese giant was one of 11 businesses each recognised in their specific field. In the automotive category, Mazda beat Audi, BMW, Honda and Skoda to the accolade.
Mazda UK's managing director Jeremy Thomson said the company's individual approach to making and selling cars is paying dividends.
He highlighted the brand's SKYACTIV system that combines high performance with the kind of economy expected from smaller, less powerful engines.
Added to this, he predicts Mazda cars will continue to thrill customers while providing the kind of fuel efficiency and low emissions needed to fit in lower car tax brackets - saving drivers more money.
Mazda is no stranger to Which? success as its MX-5 was named the UK's most reliable new sportscar last year.
The Which? awards is the largest survey of consumers in terms of the reliability of cars and motoring satisfaction in Britain.
