Huge savings to be made on Shoguns

09 Aug 2013 at 09:07

Mitsubishi is slashing the price of its Shogun SUVs and buyers can save as much as £5,000 depending on the model they want.

Customers can drive away a Shogun from £26,199, while the largest savings come with the long wheelbase SG3 and SG4 versions that are now £33,799 and £36,799.

The SG2 trim, the Warrior and commercial versions make up the range.

The permanent price cuts are a part of Mitsubishi's drive to further increase sales. It has sold 41% more cars this year than it had at the same point of 2012.

Buyers can select from three-door short wheelbase or five-door long-wheelbase variants, but they all feature 3.2-litre turbodiesel engines and manual or automatic gearboxes.

The new Shoguns are just as rugged and well-equipped as their predecessors but now they are even more affordable, according to the Managing Director of Mitsubishi Motors UK, Lance Bradley.
