Motorcycle heavyweight Harley-Davidson has emerged as the third coolest brand for 2011/12 in the UK in a prestigious survey.
Appearing in the annual CoolBrands chart, Harley-Davidson is the only motorcycle brand to be included in the top list of 20 names.
The list, coordinated by the Centre for Brand Analysis, is based on votes from 2,000 consumers and a judging panel of 36 designers, style experts, media personalities and prominent figures from the worlds of TV, fashion and music.
Top of the pile is Aston Martin, followed by Apple. Some of the other famous brands included in the list are Google, BlackBerry, Ferrari, Rolex, Chanel, Nike and YouTube.
This year's CoolBrands council comprised Jessie J, Ben de Lisi, Lisa Snowdon, Rob da Bank, Sadie Frost and Kelly Hoppen, who helped to rate the coolness of brands.
The list was drawn from over 10,000 different brands in the market, whittled down into a shortlist of 1,500.
