Ferrari North Europe has unveiled a funding package for its apprentice programme in the UK, aiming to provide specialised training for young people.
The investment of more than £350,000 will be provided in collaboration with the Official Ferrari Dealer Network. The qualifications will be accredited by IMI Awards.
School leavers aged 16 and above can benefit from the Ferrari North Europe Apprentice Programme.
They will receive in-house specialised training on cars manufactured by the Italian firm for a period of three years. The project will also include 24 weeks of specific training.
Announced as part of Apprenticeship Week, the scheme complies with the Government's Advanced Modern Apprenticeship guidelines.
Matteo Torre, regional manager Ferrari North Europe, commented: "This project is part of the Ferrari philosophy of investing in young talent."
Interested candidates can apply for the training course, which is scheduled to start at Ferrari North Europe's headquarters in September this year.
Apprentices will be chosen on the basis of an aptitude test and a two-hour interview.
